25 June 2007, I'm really pissed off today. Since last night I've been stormed with all the nags and complains bout' how I actually screwed up my whole life and I'd even not notice how fuck'up Mel felt bout' me. And all the while she had to put up with all the shit she hate bout' me. Little thing I did like even placing a fan by the window to blow in fresh air pissed her off. I can't remember when I gave up all my own rights to her, why do I need her permission to watch Video? Why do I have to take all her nags? I don't know why do I even allow her to do this to me? Something is definately not right with my life. If she hated me so much then why do I still pretend everything is alright?
To start it off, her father is the saint (maybe I should respect the deceased) and mine the evil of all time (to her), her mother the fairy (although abandoned her since she childhood) and mine she call her cheap cheap low life, her brother a bond she have to respect (although once told her off when she wanted to stay in his house for a few weeks when I wasn't around, he told her it is not so convenient) and mine she just call him names, her sisters she envy so much about and mine the unneccessary person... huh... this is how much she hated my family.
Aaah! She just called me from her office and ask me why do I sound unhappy as if she is now another person. Maybe it is already a norm for her to scold me and I shouldn't feel sad. What is all this crab!

Hong Kong Trip
19 May 2007, everyone was so excited for the coming Hong Kong trip. This time my wife suggested to sponsor our Katelyn and me to Hong Kong PRC, she suggest to pay for the airfare and hotel bill and her shopping. WOW! what an offer. I withdraw RM5,000 from my bank account changed RM4,000 to HKD9,029. (wife complained, "... why are you changing so much money... you must need to budget your own expenses....blah....blah...")
20 May 2007, we went to Sunway Piramid to have our last minute preparation. My wife bought some HKD for her own pocket money and I bought another HKD2,045.
21 May 2007, Woke up at 5am, called to reconfirm the taxi. Picking us up at 6:30am. And we're on our way to the airport. I missed my darling Maegan, but have to keep to myself as I don't want to upset my wife's excitement on this trip.
We reached HK airport at 1:30pm after a 3hr flight. Waited for our checked-in luggage then took the airport shuttle (that's HKD300 for two while Katelyns fare is free) to our hotel. Checked into Express by Holiday Inn Hotel in Causeway bay, right next to Times Square shopping center. So this was our first place to visit after settling our lodging. Wanted to be trifty so we had our late lunch (should say post lunch since we had in-flight lunch) at 4pm at the Times Square food court. OUCH! food is expensive there, a bowl of noodle cost as much as HKD55. We stayed indoor as the weather outside wasn't good, seems like raining the whole day. Later in the evening we meetup with one of Mel's ex-U mate, Katherine, at FCC, short for Foreign Correspondance Club. Of couse a kwai lo vanue, she married a brit. Gee she didn't notice that its a no-kids-allows-after 7 club. Hah, but don't blame her as she has no kids yet. She bought us an umbrella at the club for Katelyn and we walked a few blocks down the road to a Japanese Restaurant. Nothing great bout the food there but at least I can see a smile in Mel's face. Took a cab back to the hotel and that's for the day.
22 May, Hotel Free breakfast, set ala-carte. Sausage, ham, noodle and scramble egg with coffee or tea and orange juice for kids. Today supposed to go to Disneyland. Took the MRT to Disneyland ticket booth but was advised that most of the event there will be closed due to bad weather and it will be better to go tomorrow. So we went to Ocean Park instead. Bad news! Panda Bear show closed for renovation. So we had the cable car ride (the longest I've ever ride) then the Dolphin vs. Sealion show. The PRC crowd was terrible, Mel kept complaining that those rude tour group pushed her. Mel finally shouted! I had to calm her from screaming. Katelyn was asleep and we had late lunch at the more expensive restaurant to avoid the crowds. (something like Jelly Fish Restaurant) Later took the cable car back to the first park and there we had our first baloon ride. Saw some clown stunt show and then back to the hotel. The whole day was drizzling.
23 May, same hotel breakfast then waited for the rain to stop! before we went to DISNEYLAND. Took the MTR there and Mel complained about the long walk at the exchange line. It was full of fun for Mel as there is lots of souvenir to shops at Main St. USA. Katelyn was just excited to see all the surprises. I'm happy when they're happy. Mel bought a Dumbo softtoy for Katelyn but her mistake to give it to her in disneyland. She lost the Dumbo!!! Mel got so mad! her whole face turned blue. Tried to cheer her up but she just gave me a sour face. I pretend to excuse myself to the toilet and bought another same Dumbo then went to the City Hall (Lost and Found counter). Have to beg the staff there to play along with me. At first they told me that I will have to pay HKD40/hour to keep stuff there. I told them my sad story and my heart broken wife... blah.. blah.. Please if you don't do this for me our whole disneyland trip all the way from Malaysia will be ruined. And phiew! Mel played along with a smile on her face (cheers my heart) but with 100% of disbelief. After the fireworks show at the Castle back to the hotel. Mel still can't get over the Dumbo thing. kept nagging me to tell the truth, "How do you expect me to belief you again?" OK OK I gave up and revealed it.
24 May, Shopping day, went to Victoria's Peak and visited Madamme Tussaud. Shopping and back to the hotel. I wanted to try the HK famous goose drumstick but ... ah! didn't make it. Mel kept complaining that all I wanted was food... OK forget bout it.
25 May, took the airport shuttle then back to M'sia. We missed home!
